I can only imagine that somehow RM got the 600k together went there and they told him they wanted the 2.1 mill in full and he persuaded them he would need a bit more time so they have given him till Monday to find it.

Just my opinion of course.

It says there was an offer to pay the full amount 5 mins before the hearing was due to take place and this hearing was only about the circa £690k debt.

Because no doubt he has the money organised but needed the extra time to complete.

Hopefully this particular hurdle is cleared.

Exactly, the consortium would not have suddenly indicated its interest in the media without previously having had talks with the existing management. That would be a sure fire way of ****ing everyone off. Sure they were not far from agreeing a takeover
