The Masters

Monty always has been a self-serving rent-a-gob, but he's ratcheted it up since becoming Sky's defacto former pro correspondent for the major golfing events. Butch Harmon is just as knowledgeable, if not more so, but infinitely more likeable. Supposed to be a great guy as well.

I'm a firm believer of some sporting events belonging on terrestrial television, The Open being one of them, but Sky's golf coverage really is second to none. Given what BT Sport has done with the Premier League so far, I dread to think what they'd do the golf.

The only thing Sky lack is Peter Allis. I think he is brilliant.

Not a bad start, but Scott's looking ominous...

EDIT: Just seen what DJ posted yesterday. He's a liability at the moment, if it wasn't the Masters he either wouldn't have played or he would've withdrawn.

Adam Scott needs to make as many wins as he can before those long putters are banned.

Course is said to be sodden after torrential rain in Georgia the last few days, which definitely brings a few more into play. You can get 32s on Bubba Watson now, which is great value. Ricky Fowler's also tracking in.

Should've practiced what I preached :duh:

I had Jamie Donaldson ew at 120s. Was feeling quite confident before the opening 7 holes today

Wouldn't begrudge either Watson (even though I haven't backed him, he's a great guy) or Spieth winning from here. Spieth is some player for 20 years old. Fearless.

Paid out E/W for 5th on Fowler. No idea why

I'd be enormously hacked off if a bookie didn't pay out for 5th place nowadays, particularly at a Major.

Made my money back from Fowler finishing in fifth which I'm happy enough with, in any major it's just a bonus having someone specific to follow going into moving day! Would've been substantially more profitable if I'd followed my own advice on Watson mind.

Thank god moonhead bogied the last as also made my money back on Fowler. MrB had Fowler and Blixt so he did well! Pity Bubba won it; he's a grade A ****!
