I would like to think the to young lads will get a decent amount of time on the pitch tonight .Both seem bright prospects .One in mid field the other in attack .

19 year old French striker on trial. Doesn't speak any English and has looked impressive so far by all accounts. Brown talking about offering him a deal. I do love it when a completely unheard of foreign trialist turns up. Hopefully he'll be more Bilel Mohsni than Adam Bouzid.

Wonder if it was MAF who recommended that we take a look. Anyone have any more info?

Lets hope we do not get a repeat of pre-season 16/17 when the young Irish lad scored a few times in friendlies and PB was going to sign right away, and never did. ( Forgotten his name )

The problem is that these are pre-season (do not get hurt, get sent off or hurt another player) games. Players go easy on each other. There will be a world of difference when Blackburn Rovers come to town. Then young Ba may perhaps have the opportunity to show them exactly how he copes.

Newport C may give us a better chance to see what Ba has about him; if he gets a contract up to Christmas with some clauses for extensions/cancellation etc.

Other than running around a lot putting defenders under pressure did he actually do that much? Yes a good prospect, but miles off what I would expect from a 1st team player at the moment. Robinson does a lot of chasing etc. Its a pre-requisite for a good forward.

Very much doubt he'll be signed as a first teamer, probably one for the under 21s like the lad Klass.

Probably why he was only given a few minutes as Brown will want to play him vs Thurrock tonight and get a much better look.

In the 11 minutes he had you mean?

He closed down a fair few times. He won the ball twice while closing down. The second time he did, he was gone and away down the wing like lightning. He did put a ball in but only Robinson was quick enough to get there but was at the back pot being marked by 2 men
