Just spoke with the club anbout ann hour ago and they have sold 140 for us and they may look to ensure cover is available for anyone out on the seats if it is raining.
might want to take a look at my post on the Solihull ticket thread from around two hours ago

Feel strangely optimistic as long as we select a strong team with our most skilful players and best passers. That means Coker, miley, Husin, bridge , Ralph, Taylor. Away from home against the 4th placed team with low expectations and no crowd on their backs they can play patient passing possession football and not hoof it forward. The players and style we started the season with in fact.

The problem with leaving Crowther out is that reduces even more our likelyhood of scoring from a set piece. Unfortunately Taylor and Kensdale offer very little threat in this area despite them being decent centre backs.
Crowther's just looked a bit out of sorts the last few games.

Slightly different line up for me…

Collin

Crowther. Kensdale Ralpj

GSM. Bridge

Taylor. Miley

Wood

Cardwell. Waldron

Rest Husin.

Have Taylor and Miley as holding midfielders and allow GSM and Bridge to play higher and put on the press whivj we used to do so well.

Wood is in there to collect the ball in the pockets behind andnin between the strikers. He can arrive in the box when he wants but more importantly, will receive, turn and thread balls through.

This maybe two attacking for the three amigos but as a fan would love to see this.
How is having Miley and Taylor in Midfield too attacking ? What game do you watch ?

only concern with Taylor is that last time he played midfield was away at Gateshead and it didnt go well. If he is to play then he as to be in his best/preferred position

It would help if all fans tonight would shout "SHOOT" when we get in the opposition half.

The team seemed to forget how to shoot last game.
I remember league 1 and to a lesser extent league 2 when after the pre match warm up the defenders would practice heading etc and all others would head to East Greens and practice shooting with the reserve / U18 goalkeeper

I can't remember the last time this was practiced. Anyone remember it this season. I think thd last time I member seeing it was with Sol in charge and was one of the few times I saw Andy Cole.

Keep saying this...
Waldren and Cards does not work
They play in the same square meter of space.
The high balls to them are a waste of time.
Either of them up front, Sandat behind.
All balls to the feet. With some one from somewhere in mid field driving forward.
At corners. One guy on the 'D'. We never get the second ball.
Do we practice shooting from 18yds?

Defenders should be picked first and foremost for their ability to defend. Any goals are a bonus.

Taylor as one of our best passers?

I’d recall him but it wouldn’t be for his ability on the ball.

I'm guessing this is available on National League TV .. as I don't usually watch that way what's the deal - you just pay a tenner and that gets you access to all the games?
Yep, but it's £9.50 and you do have to register, just once, if they charge you a tenner they're being naughty boys.

I suspect this will be it. With just 5 goals in 6 games I would prefer a bit more ambition- or even try the 442 (in which case I wouldn’t have 2 left footers and go Miley or Cav with Coker or Husin.

But I suspect you have it right in which case we win 1-0 or draw 0-0 or 1-1. I rule a 1-0 defeat out on the basis it would make me unhappy…
One of those two is going to be upset at being left out.
