Badger issue in the NB

Did anyone else hear a rumour about Badgers in the NB last night. Apparently they have been digging up the pitch NB end and the club cant get rid of them due to being a protected species. I did note although there weren't many Woking fans there they were all pushed into the end block rather than allowed to spread out and my son said there was some fencing between them in block W and the NB. I heard the game was in doubt due to the Badgers as they are dangerous etc and also Saturday could also be at risk if this situation cant be resolved. there are also comments on Woking twitter feeds apparently

I saw one while watching on DAZN last night. It disappeared under the left hand side of the black cover behind the goal about half way down.

I knew I saw something walking down the steps of the NB last night!

Makes sense it was a Badger as the pitch looks bloody awful.

I have a couple that visit my garden and they make a right mess of the lawn, digging for bugs.

Could be an expensive bill if they start digging holes into the pitch.

Can't be moved during their breeding season which is December to June.

I have had trouble with Badgers for years. Breaking my fence panels at the bottom, and digging up my lawn. They aren't much of a threat to humans because they run to escape from humans, rather than confront a human, in my experience. If they have set up a Badger set in the ground, then it's a huge problem. If outside the ground, then they just have to find out where they are getting in, and reinforce that bit. Corrugated metal sheets across the bottom of fence panels or wooden gates, stops them. Decking across the bottom, or strong chicken wire. If they are digging underneath anything to get in, then they can concrete it, or use metal spikes.
