Pepple also slipped with an open goal and slid in to miss a sitter.

We were miles better than them today and fully deserved the win.

Halifax suffer from a football-heavy catchment area: Bradford, Huddersfield and Leeds, with Lancs teams not a million miles away.
Attendances have been pretty much around 2,000 for a long while.

That was a great header by Crowther for his goal. The ball was obviously behind him. So leaning backwards away from the goal, twisting and guiding it into the far corner was a pretty good effort.

@rayleigh dan @Chris Powell's mate Also don't forget we played F.C. Halifax Town today which to all intents and purposes you could describe as a 'Phoenix Club'. Halifax Town A.F.C. (the 'original' Club) went into administration in 2007 - 08 and ended up in the Northern Premier League Division One North (8 tier).

I'm sure they would have lost a considerable number of supporters during those lean times?

Very fair point and I admit I forgot that the current Halifax is a Phoenix club. Still say our attendances have been impressive regardless though!
