Should we care though. IIRC the £20 million that Ron will give back to the consortium to re develop Roots Hall depends on if Ron gets what he wants

Yeah I don’t think the has ever had any intentions of giving the club 20 million. Regardless of what is written down on any paperwork.

I'm not an expert on this (or many things to be honest) but I would have thought it was obvious that the council have to consult with the people of Southend City before such a development (and it's recent changes).

I'm as fustrated as well but there it is. [Shoulder shrug; sad face]

There will of course be objections & quite possibly further amendments.

Perhaps the more positive approach would be for each Southend United fan to get on to the presentation site, download the feedback form & say that they are in favour of the scheme.
