According to a friend who’s a Tonbridge fan, he’s far far too good for that level. Glad to hear he’s getting games and getting his career on track. Got bags of talent
He came back from a catastrophic leg break in THAT game at Colchester. Looked almost as good as he'd done before, but, for whatever reason, Kev didn't keep him on. I know he's quite close with a number of the lads here, so am hoping that he went off with an instruction to get himself properly fit with a view to coming back when finances allow.Always liked him n thought he would make it with us. Injuries with us if I remember ended his chances. Good luck to him. Wish him well.

Clifford’s decline always surprised me. When he first broke into the first team he looked like he had a real chance and had the makings of a really good player. Didn’t look out of place in our last few seasons of league football, admittedly in a poor team, but just seemed to really drop off in the national league. This may shock everyone, Lewis Gard signed for Ramsgate about three weeks ago.
Ramsgate play in the Isthmian South East (Step 4) and this is a two level drop from Tonbridge Angels.
He scored eight goals last season in the NLS so Ramsgate must be paying well.
They’ve signed a couple of ex EFL players including our very own Tom Clifford.
