Hopefully the next newsletter should be hitting inboxes in the next 24 hours - there's something quite exciting in there for the members to get involved in so do make sure to have a read!

Really sad to report that the take up on the Junior Blues competition to take part in a zoom call Q&A with John White and Simeon Akinola this Wednesday has been quite low.

We still have plenty of spaces so, if your youngsters are JB members and would like to be involved, please contact Matt Mundy on media@southend-united.co.uk

Southend United stars John White and Simeon Akinola will be taking part in a Zoom Q&A session with 15 lucky Junior Blues members during half-term.

We’re giving our young fans the chance to quiz the duo on their individual careers, life as a footballer, the sacrifices they’ve made to get to where they are and more.

But that is all down to our Junior Blues who we want to become reporters for the Zoom session and to find out as much as they can about the two players!

So we’re asking all Junior Blues members who would like to be on the Q&A session to submit questions that they would ask John and Simeon and the best 15 will be invited onto the Zoom.

It will take place on Wednesday 17th February at midday.

In advance of the Q&A, the chosen Junior Blues members will be sent a worksheet to complete after for a chance to win a pair of Mark Oxley signed gloves.

So for a chance to be on the Q&A session, please email media@southend-united.co.uk with your questions for John and Simeon along with your Junior Blues ID number.

Successful Junior Blues will be contacted with details on how to join ahead of the call. Please note, that Junior Blues are advised to have a parent/guardian present during the call.

If you are yet to become a Junior Blues member you can join for £5 here.
