Whilst not agreeing with Wiggy's insistance of only ever posting on here when Southend managed to do something remotely wrong, I have to say I am extremely dissapointed, and annoyed, that we have failed to do anything to rectify our striker problems, which were apparent to all of us at the start of the season.

The Official site states that we had two unsuccessful bids for players today in Agogo and Campbell Ryce, but why were we leaving it til now to try and sort this out? Its ridiculous, and I think all of us knew this situation would come back ot haunt us, and now with Gray possibly injured for Sunday, we really are in desperate times up front.

There hasnt been much to complain about in the last 18 months or so, but this is very bad management and planning by Tilly, Brush and Uncle Ron.

I hope we dont live to regret this, but I have a feeling we might, and that is unforgiveable when we have an amount of money at our disposal and we've done nothing to rectify a situation until its too late.

No thanks. Watched the DVD today and his headed miss from six yards against West Ham reminded me of just how bad he was in front of goal.

Yes, I totally agree. Because we are short on a striker we are doomed for relegation. We are a certainty to go down!!!

Im sure the fact that we have great experienced players like Spinner, Eagle, The Goat, and up and coming skillful youngsters like Mitch, Guttridge, Jay smith etc. All this topped off with legends and quality players like Kev, Barrett and Benno. These players wont help us atall!! Its just not good enough!

WE ARE DOOMED FOR RELEGATION!!

Isn't it ironic. We (as fans) could see this coming and yet we waited until transfer deadline day to moan about the fact that the club failed to make a single signing.

If any of you were that concerned about deadline day failing to yeald any players, you should have been in contact with the club direct... ages ago!!!
