Question Pubs local to Roots Hall showing the Wembley game on Sunday?

gayshrimpy

Centre Half
Dear all,

Try as we might, we couldn't get tickets to the game on Sunday, and as of right now, there's no murmur of a live screening at Roots Hall. Yeah, DAZN is an option but we want to be around fellow Shrimpers to soak it all up.

Any pubs around Roots Hall publicly screening the game? I'd like to have some of that...

Thanks for anything you can provide and up the Shrimpers.

(PS. Last minute winner by Gus Scott-Morriss and a hangover until Wednesday is what I'm predicting).

The Railway
The Blue Boar are two that i can immediately think of.

Of course, that makes perfect sense. Be interested to hear about any 'off the beaten track' venues as well where there's a chance to get a seat early enough. Thanks for your reply.

The Norton, in Cold Norton is showing it.

One of the former barmaids from The Railway is now the landlady here. Had both playoff matches there too.

Hey, I feel you, missing out on tickets sucks. Last time I was near Roots Hall, The Railway Arms usually shows the game with a good crowd. It’s a proper Shrimpers vibe there. Also, The Alma in Victoria Road sometimes screens matches, worth checking out.

Hope you catch that winner (and survive the hangover)! Up the Shrimpers!
