Question Season Ticket Renewal- How do you change seats?

CaptainSmudger

My season ticket is in East Stand far post bar. Row C,
I am a big bloke and find leg room very cramped.
I would like to find another seat with more room.
How do you change seats, when season tickets are offered to existing holders?
Thanks for any help.

When i bought my ticket I went into the ticket office and basically said can I go in the ground and try out the seats available. Which they did but this wasn't in the busy time. It might be worth giving them a ring now and see if you could pop down and discuss it and try out some options

You could always try the West -I know Rob Noxious prefers it there (I think it's because of the atmosphere)He says it's because of the seats which makes no sense to me,as they're bolted on plastic ones.

They usually have a 'swap' window before the season tickets go on general sale I believe.

Renewal of ST seats will be step 1; only open to those who already have a seat from last season. @CaptainSmudger this is your time to renew; then a short while later there is a seat "swap" period (step2) when your seat can be admin'd over to another seat, one which has no occupant/renewed ST.
After this the seats go on general sale. (step3)

If there is an "early bird" then buy your old seat then BUT be ready to swap seat when that window opens.

Seats in, iirc Row F, in the East are plastic, (as are A-E incl) back row of old paddock and before pillars AND have extra 6" of leg room.
Rows G up are wood.

Also in the East there will always be people whose circumstances/health change and do not renew;- these in my opinion are often the better seats.

Seat nos 60-100 will be closer to the centre line (which is roughly seat 80 ish with numbering going from North to South.

I hope that all is clear?

Notice thar it was impossible to get 3 seats together in the East reds last season.
I thoughr it was because some of the old codgers there had taken advantage of the rat's demise to renew their season tickets,Are you implying that they might pop their clogs over the summer? :Winking:

That is a bit dark Tangers!
My Mum-in- L (went to Wembley aged 88) let her's go as cold dark nights were too much for her; the lack of mobility compromised access/toilets etc, others are likely in same position ( I know of 1 for sure near me).
I "inherited"/ swapped to my seat when the previous ST holder couldn't renew because of divorce/house move/job etc.

#thingshappen.

I do agree getting a small group of seats together in the East is getting increasingly harder; and will I believe get harder, as the more ST take up happens.
