Southend United manager Phil Brown's fury at referee Simon Hooper as unbeaten run is

SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown hit out at his own players and referee Simon Hooper following Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Mansfield Town.

Tend to agree with PB on this. the team didnt play well, but decisions certainly went against us. Unfortunately though these are the games we should be winning if we have aspirations to go up. To only get 2 points from Daggers, Newport and Mansfield is poor, but in hindsight we could easily have lost all three. that paints a bigger picture for me. We are stumbling at just the wrong time.

We were poor on Saturday, but the ref was dire and really needs to improve his performances

Hopefully just enough about us to stumble over the line into the lottery of the playoffs at least.

After this we got Hooper at the play off finals and he made a right feck up of that.

Today ManC experienced his dire performance with blowing for a foul when Grealish was clear thru on goal.
Bloke has not improved in 9 years it seems but gets top games.
I do hope he isn't going to go to Euro 24.

The bald buffoon consistently got things wrong throughout todays match .

He was also ref during the Spurs v Liverpool game where that VAR goal was incorrectly not given.

Mike Dean on Sky Sports reporting on Sheff U v Liverpool. Goal, o-1, supposed odd goal which has Dean saying "it looked a foul but Simon Hooper has given it".

How the feck does he get games?
