Breaking News Ticket Office break in - IT network equipment stolen

I have a young 'ITK' that lives in my road, and he loves to tell me secrets! He reckons that the Ticket Office was broken into overnight and electrical stuff stolen, this in turn could delay season cards. Anyone heard anything similar, as my young informant does have an unintentional habbit of talking out of his arse at times.

This maybe true as Essex police say the getaway car was a Bentley.

Apparently the lack of internet is due to a stolen piece of networking equipment! Bloody Ron Martin… just think how disappointed he’ll be when the insurance company tell him he’s no longer the beneficiary for claims. The network box will be up on eBay quick as a flash.

The moral of this episode is that I should pay more attention to other threads. This in turn would remove the opportunity for @Spaceman Spiff to point out my inadequacies.

Anyone else thing this sounds a bit fishy - the ticket office / club shop has a lot of merchandise, laptops, PC, screens, etc - why just break in to nick a modem? very odd
