You can hire them for £35, including changing rooms.

Only problem with those are that I'm guessing the school will call games off at the first sign of rain to protect them?

Although worth considering if we have some friendlies this season.

Not meaning to stick my nose in but WS is not a member of SZFC todate, although he is a willing helper with our training.

I suggest you send any details you have to myself or ORM.

Cheers

I think this could solve a lot of issues for up and coming friendlies. At least we will not be re-arranged due to cup games. http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/blues.gif

Sorry, I thought he was El Presidente. Anyhow he asked me on Tuesday in the Spread to find out, so I can only presume he was asking on behalf of SZFC.

Either that or WS just wants a large field to play in!

All,

My intention was (as my swansong) to treat SZFC to a training session on a proper pitch, with proper goals for Toddy and Wayne to practise in, proper pitch markings for the rest to work their silky skills within, and a changing room in which the coaching staff can discuss the day's activities after the session. And, of course, a real pitch to get some match practise, albeit for half an hour or so.

I think the team need it. It's all well and good practising at Priory Park, but the likes of Toddy and Wayne need to get used to the size of a goal, whilst people like Dan and Barry need to get used to the size of the pitch for set pieces.

And I'm paying for it, as El Presidente of SZFC!

A very kind gesture WS http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

But we still would like you to sign up to our Associate Member Scheme. And that goes to everyone else who came along to our do last Saturday. So far out of the many promised associate member fees we have received one. Well done Blue Missy!! http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Excellent stuff WS

Agree we need the practice on a full size pitch, especially the set piece takers and the keepers. I presume there is a time limit on the pitches as there probably will be games before/after we use them?

Dan.
