I shall be letting GNH reserves $%&* all over me. My five reserve defenders and reserve keeper really are pants. I can't risk injuring two of my three midfielders and my set-piece specialist is reserved for league games only. I'm expecting around 21.5 22.5 stars tonight against 28.5 attained last Sunday (my highest ever).

Prediction 5-1.

BTW - Will anyone be using the chatroom tonight.

I would like to excuse my team on the basis that they are light years behind pretty much everyone in the tournament. That's not to say we won't give it a go although I do have a couple of injuries and in a bad team, a couple of injuries goes a long way!

Smart money is on Lorne Hoare to get me a consolation though...

Bob C's reserve team on paper seem pretty pants so I am confident I can get a result with my reserves who are as good as or only 1 level below my 1st teamers.

The lads worked their socks off, didn't get the rub of the green, they did ever so well.

Due to the fact i've accepted relegation this season to build for next year and bigger crowds in series VI I may play my first team in the SZ cup and my reserves in the league. Mixture of reserves and first XI on crap form for tonights encounter v ORM

I have to say, this is something I've been thinking of doing with regard to staying in Level VI. I feel very comfortable with my situation in terms of increasing crowds, decent results etc.. I think I would rather build for the future in this division and then get promoted than go up and then come straight back down.

I'm playing 2-5-3 in order to maximise passing training.

My midfield will therefore suck big time, as I play a load of strikers in midfield, plus suffer regular confusion.

My reign as Shrimperzone Cup holder will be short lived and I will be shocked if I survive the group stages.

Huh? Are you allowed to play that formation...?! You may end up losing training...

Can play that formation, just can't gain any formation experience in it - hence the confusion.

I wouldn't recommend it for league games as its bloody difficult to get results with!

You only lose training if you over subscribe any position so no more than 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 strikers. Therefore 2-5-3 and 5-5-0 are both viable formations to maximise passing training.

Like Birri, our reserve XI isn't far from our first however some of them are being sold to fund a big purchase so I won't really be challenging this year.
