As is always the case, when there is not a match taking place then training happens at Priory Park, 10.30.

The reason for checking availability in the other thread was to ensure we do not have less than 8 turning up, this does not seem to be the case.

Just looked and B, Lee, Naps, Adam, Shags, Al, Jack, Simon and yourself will be there. I know Ben will be there and i'd imagine Todd, Dan, Alexis and Carter will be there as well ...

Well, it would be down to the committee, so that would be me, Shags and Lee.

with no Management ( Colin or Tony ) and no Captain ( Snowy's injured ), I imagine it would be between the Committee ( myself, Shags and Naps ) or B, in his Deputy Captain role.
I will now be there as the family gathering is local and doesn't start till 1pm. If someone wants me to co-ordinate it then I don't mind. Means we'll be doing plenty of heading!

I'm sure between the four of us we can co-ordinate something...
Need to practise set pieces as well- attacking and defending.

why have a match at all? We could just concentrate on heading and set-pieces? ( obviously after a warm up )

Does that mean we'll be learning to stand in front of the goal, only move sideways and try and score on the volley?

Although, learning to score full stop'd help. http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

True, a game in training doesn't really acheive much (apart from fitness) because nobody wants to put takles in. We might as well do more passing, ball work, goalkeeper and set pieces etc.
