What ever happened to him?
This was one guy the crowd loved to hate. http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Day of the Raj indian restaurant in Mill Hill Broadway in NW London has a signed picture of him in his custard splatt shirt, along with pictures of all their other "famous" customers.
Once, when I had had a little too much to drink and was at that "little bit too loud" stage I asked them why they had his picture up there. They asked me if I knew him and I whipped out my SUFC credit card. They then took it to the next table and showed it to a guy who had his back to me, and he turned round. Needless to say it was Phil. We had a quick chat; he was then playing for St. Albans and seemed to be enjoying it there.
I also saw him coming out of a flat on Aerodrome Road near the RAF Museum in Hendon, also right near the Peel Centre a bit after that.

He was playing for Hendon a couple of years ago when I lived there. I used to see him about every now and then. Once caught him staring at a mirror in a shop window in Brent Cross, trying to sort his hair out. I'll give him credit though... he did laugh as I started chanting "Same old Gridlet, always posing" at him *http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
