What amazes me is that FM seems to think that someone carrying a VHS tape / DVD is doing so with some level of "superb effort". Surely, it doesn't take the brains of an archbishop to pick up the said article just before you leave the house, does it? Of course, he could instead be giving it the "large one" about going to Yeovil Town next weekend ... for some inexplicable reason, 'cos no-one else seems to be trumpeting such an intention ...

Indeed, I've done my fair share of away games over the years, long before FM did his first one last season. But these days with the way we're playing (up until recently) there's little incentive to blow another 100 - 200 notes on watching Southend.

I'm sure when things turn round in the new year I'll do a lot more, but in the meantime I've got more important things to spend my money on.

And for the record the second series of the office was pretty tired compared to the first.

Indeed. Plenty of us were travelling around this isle of ours long before FM was even thought of. So, for him to give it the big 'un is quite ludicrous ...

The Office Series One was indeed far better than Series Two because of its originality. Series Two was occasionally lost on ideas and recycled a lot of jokes from Series One, admittedly not that noticeable. In fact the format was becoming quite tired by the end of the second series' run. Luckily Gervais and Merchant don't intend to make any more after the Xmas special (which was only produced through pressure from the BBC).

Trouble is Mike i read the other day that the BBC are prepared to give them a blank cheque to do a 3rd series. Hope they stand by there morals of keeping a truley great british comedy, Funny and timeless rather than cashing in and throwing all the good work away

If that programme makes anymore series, it'll turn into an English version of Friends. That programme should have ended years ago, utter cr*p now http://www2.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Excuse me hear !,

I am certainly not boasting that i am going to Yeovil, as it certainly does not make me any more of a person with 4 kids who can not go. Or experenced Campainers who would rather or need to do other things.

I certainly am not bigging myself up nor do i consider me self a 'truer fan than X'
