World Cup 2007

After being seduced by bluebelle on the last one of these I thought I would try again. Is anyone thinking about going to this World Cup? England wil be playing their group matches in Saint Luicia -which I hear is very nice in March and April!

I would love to go, particularly as it is being held in the Windies for the first time. But I am planning a foray to Australia for two Ashes tests in 2006/7, and i doubt that my finances or holiday entitlement would stretch to a couple of weeks in St Lucia, Barbados & Antigua.

I am not sure that all Englands games have been confirmed for St Lucia, but it is certainly their base for the group matches.

Venue/Host has not yet been agreed for 2011, but it appears that India are the favourites.

IMO it should be Australia & NZ as the 1992 World cup from down under has been the best i have seen. The format was spot on and the cricket in the main was great.
