Tony Bentley- an apology

In an article in February 2003 in our Hall of Fame special for the best ever right-back, we announced that Tony Bentley had sadly passed away. We have been recently informed that this is not the case at all, and we are delighted to hear that he is actually coaching a women's Premier League team
in Nova Scotia with Bryn Jones, another former pro player.

Many apologies to Tony and his family for our inaccurate reporting, and we are happy to put the record straight.
