Well actually if it was an overhead problem then it is not c2c's fault but Network Rail!!

Quote[/b] ]Welcome to Network Rail

Network Rail is an engineering company formed to revitalise Britain's railways. We maintain, improve and upgrade every aspect of the railway infrastructure, including:

* The track
* Signalling systems
* Bridges
* Viaducts
* Tunnels
* Level crossings
* Stations

We do not run the trains but our main customers are the train and freight operating companies who do. We aim to provide Britain with consistently reliable train routes.

What time did you leave Fenchurch St?? All was fine when I left! I got home at my usual time, which is 17:30. http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif God dont you just hate smug *******s http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Just looked on the C2C website and the problems are due to overhead wire problems, line problems and delays to previous journeys when on train departed 27 mins late.

Maybe they should replace the name C2C and call it the 'Bloody Misery Line' again http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Took me 4 hours to get home- took the 6:08. Stranded outside Pitsea for over 2 hours...

Also, many thanks to the idiots on the 6:05 leaving their train whilst still on the tracks and getting rounded up by police. Told to get coach to Leigh from Pitsea.

Thank God I took something to read- my mobile was dead, so had nothing to do at all...

I have just had a fantastic idea.

You get a deisel train, turn it into a massive bar and when trains are delayed you drive up and down the other side of the track serving drinks to all the stranded commuters.

I think it's a winner.

FGE trains delayed by ten minutes yesterday morning due to reports of a cow on the track between Billericay and Shenfield. Our train driver found the cow ... at least he thinks that was what the bloody pulp was on the side of the tracks! I was right at the front of the train so I could hear his entire conversation with the signalling centre at Liverpool Street as well as have the pleasure of playing "spot the bit of cow". He then told everyone on the train that if they were a bit squeamish that they should not look out of the left-hand side of the train. So ... what did everyone do?!

This morning we had a problem with trains at the station. We were delayed because - and here's the shock! - there were trains moving in and out of Liverpool Street Station! That was the excuse we were given!! After 125 years they'd only just realised this ...

The 06:44 from Rochford arrived at Liverpool street 6 minutes late at 07:39 despite there being no obvious disuptions.

This meant I arrived at the top city institution that employs me six minutes later than usual. I had to have an extra sheet of bacon in my executive breakfast to compensate for this annoying delay.

Yep, it pulled away as I walked through the entrance, the 7:57 and 8:00 were both cancelled and the 8:12 was scheduled to arrive at 8:28, though whether it actually did is anyone's guess, at 8 it was still at Laindon trying to get back down to Shoebury to begin the journey!

Well my journey to town was a pleasant one along the front. Bought a few items and headed to the Pet place by Southend hopsital to get a few things for the dog. Come home to see my boots have arrived ready for Sunday and to top it all of i get a ticket from a certain SZFC member. Somethings gotta go wrong soon ...
