Not a great deal to add really -
I am still waiting for three squad players to contact me about Sunday's game (PM or phone). There's nothing to be frightened of http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
I've seen the discussion on this board about Captain for Sunday in the absence of Mr B. I have no problems whatsoever with making Steve the official SZFC Captain for the day. However as Steve's a young enough pup and will probably get another bite at the RH cherry at some stage I'm going to invoke Manager's privilige and will wear the cherished arm-band in true Maheresque fashion for the first game. *
A kit is sorted for Sunday, though we'll need to use the blue shorts and socks that we already have in the Belvedere kit. I'll need to make arrangments with Twinks to pick it up between now and Sunday. Unless of course Twinks comes on here and confirms that he will bring it along Sunday morning. We felt the Elonex SUFC shirts, however fantastic, were a mixture of short + long sleeves and it doesn't make sense for us to use shirts with Belvedere FC and their old sponsors written over them. In addition they do not go very well with dark blue shorts and socks. We have been able to borrow a plain white set of shirts for Sunday.
Hopefully you've seen the comments from Hockley Hobbit about trying to get all of our entourage in the same part of the East Stand - and suggestions *for this ? (and no - not the ****in bar !!!!)
Finally just in case you missed it news about mid-week training starting next week (at long last) is pinned at the top of the board.

Hilary,
Can we rely on your injury treatment skills this Sunday - and do you need 6 or 7 honorary assistants for the day ? http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

With the players, squad members, fans not playing on sunday where you allwana sit i would say in the eastgreens as Tony has said about the camara man filming may get us in it so maybe next to the dugout? All of us next to eachother could make abit of encouragement and get behind shrimperzone FC!!!!

The East Greens will be the only bit open so you don't have much choice!

Between you can you remember if someone gets cut, that pouring water on it is not a good idea (a la the suggestion when the guy cut above his eye against Urban Kings) as it only makes it bleed more. Pouring water on injuries doesn't always make them go away..... http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
