GET DOWN TO SRFC

Boys if you want to see a bit of good sport cheap beer and cheap food and cheap ticket prices get down their. They are in the same league as Southend United in their respective game but are looking for a playoff place and not relegation like some.

But i tell you all something after a 50-18 points win away yesterday i would get down their are cheer a good team not a bad one with cheap beer and only £4 quid non members and £2 members to get in!

Get down to SRFC and cheer on your local rugby team to promotion not the footy team to relegation.

Cheers ESDB(at warners bridge)

I know half the team, and if they didn't play on a Saturday I would be down there like a shot...

Maybe when we play away at some God-forsaken place I'll go.

It's a lovely image, but no, I know some of them from when I played football for Trinity alongside them over 10 years ago. All came from Cecil Jones...

9th in the 14-team National League Division Three (South) is not THAT impressive at the moment.

I would rather be repeatedly poked with a sharp stick than watch any game of Rugby.

It's not the game I dislike it is just a sizeable portion of the people that play/watch it.

19-11-2003, 12:49 PM
yeah ok Ws but how many teams above us are on the same amount of points http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/blues.gif about 4 i think if we beat tabard on saturday and depending on other results we can go about 5th 1 place from the playoff and better than ufc are doing

You should have a chat with Brian down the Spread - be warned though, you'll probably be there for a hundred years (and you won't be able to get a word in as I found out on Sunday!!) http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Yeah - that was my fault that he ended up 'chatting' with Westy coz I think he was trying to rescue me! I had a look of utter desperation on my face I think.

Matt
It's not everyone but I have vivid memories of sitting in many university bars and having my evening spoiled by fifteen ruddy faced, 'well fed' idiots from the shires in blazers. People who seemed to think it was acceptable to throw up into pint glasses and then drink it or drop their trousers to see how many 2p coins they can fit under a small piece of skin that is removed at birth by certain relegions.

BBC B is magic. I'm rolling back the years!

Startlingly accurate. *Whilst I knew a goodly number of those types, and some of them (whilst sober, at least) counted amongst my friends, I'm pleased to say that (the odd spot of mooning aside), I never indulged in that sort of ritualistic neanderthal-style behaviour...

Excellent! *Glad to hear it. *Hope you got the disk-drive to work again too... it was a good 'un when it worked.
