I'd love it if he came home to Roots Hall... Lock up your stereos!!

Have to disagree with you there... whilst he's clearly not had the career (possibly cos he's not as good) as Spinner, I don't recall Edwards being in a different league to Leo.

This is a kid, don't forget, that was attracting the attention of PSV Eindhoven as a 17 year-old at Roots Hall.

OK, so his temperament has been suspect (e.g. the Barnet stereo incident). But he was always a passionate, and capable player for us.

And he's also a lot younger than Edwards & Prior - neither of whom are spring chickens, and neither of whom could touch Leo for pace.

Not often I disagree with you Cockles, but I think you're wrong on this one.

I think Leo would be a top drawer signing for us... Imagine him and Cort at the back!?

It would be Quality to have Leo back, brilliant defender i would say hes better than cort overall too IMO. V

Very commited too but i doubt we will sign him.

maybe wozza is not being offered new deal until Tilly finds out more about Prior?? http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif possible... seeing as most of the players have by now been told of there fate...

Leo Roget - 26 (D.O.B. 01/08/1977 - so he'll be 27 in the summer)

Andy Edwards - 32 (D.O.B. 17/09/1971 - so he'll be 33 in September)

The latter, in particular, is no spring chicken... Oh, and here's one for free:

Spencer Prior - 33 (D.O.B. 22/04/1971)
