FOOTBALL: NEWMAN KEEN ON LINNETS POST
Former Southend United boss Rob Newman has revealed he is interested in the vacant managerial job at King's Lynn.

Newman, who parted company with the Shrimpers in March, is keen to get back into management and is ready to throw his hat into the ring for the post with the Dr Martens Eastern Division club.

He told the Eastern Daily Press: "I've had no contact with the club but it is certainly a post I'd be interested in."
