could someone please tell me from where we signed Connelly, and what month of 1999 it was?
and where did we get rid of him to, or was he just released into the wild, and when?

We got him from York in July 1999 and David Webb showed him the door after seeing him play for 45 minutes vs Blackpool

The fee was either 50k or 12k, can't remember which but either way we was conned!

I think we got rid of him to Halifax who were still in the FL at the time.

He left the Shrimpers on November 2 2000 and he joined Carlisle United before returning to his native Scotland in the summer of 2001 to play for Scottish Division One side Queen of the South. He now plays for Division Two side Berwick Rangers ...
