We've come a long way since last June and we have a lot of potential but we now need to move on to the next stage.
The factors that are going to make the difference are:
1) The biggest criticism I have of SZFC is that we still don't seem to realise that it's not what we do on the ball, it's what we do when we don't have it.
2) Fitness - We've been together long enough for this to be less of an issue than it currently is but Sunday's second half is a prime example to us all that the game lasts for 90 minutes. I'm 37, I smoke and gone are the days where I could sprint around the midfield but 90 minutes at the back is still not a problem for me.
3) Sometimes it doesn't need to be pretty to be effective
4) Attitude - More belief in ourselves, less time worrying about how good or how big the opposition are.
Hopefully people will take this as the positive post it is meant to be.
