Woodman also won sports book of the year, beating off David Beckham and Martin Johnson, after his book with Gareth Southgate talking about the difference between life at the top and life at the lows. the 2 are good friends, after their stint at palace, and well done to the guys for writing a better book than david beckham! (cos that's gotta be really hard!)
