First things first, many congratulations to Shane Warne. 700 Test wickets is an extraordinary milestone, an amazing achievement. To do it in his home test at Melbourne makes it all the more special.
That he should do it on a drizzly, cold day - "English" conditions which were seamer-friendly, makes it all the more remarkable. Or perhaps all the more embarrassing for England. The 5-0 whitewash looks truly on the cards now.
For those of you who have yet to see the scorecards, brace yourselves...

The basic summary, though, is:
England - 159 all out (having been 102/2)
Australia - 48/2
Miserable.

The words "we're SH!T" come to mind.
Congrats to Warnie though.

How many bloody times must we get Hayden out?
Just seen the highlights and he was twice struck in front with it hitting three-quarters up middle!

Ponting's got himself out http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif Hooked a Fintoff short delivery, straight up into the air and into the hands of Cook. Come on England!

And also Symonds was plum to Panesar when he was on about 25

Well, that was painfully brief, wasn't it?

Indeed as MtS said, congratulations to Shane Warne.
Who would have bet on that?
700 text victims is no little* feat.
*Not little? Maybe Mummy's "diet pills" didn't work then...

Found it quite funny that two men the size of Hayden and Symonds couldn't carry Warne on their shoulders for much more than about ten seconds http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
But fair play to Warney all the same. A true sporting legend. Looking forward to seeing him turn out for Hampshire next season. Fingers crossed he'll be playing in their Twenty20 match vs Middlesex at Uxbridge...
