Australia made 221 in their 20 overs.
Cue England collapse for 93.

There's no way we can even think about getting near to the International record!

Why the f*** is Ed Joyce playing?
He averages 12 in domestic 20:20, has never made a 20:20 fifty, isn't a big hitter and is a crap fielder.

In light of the evergreen Paul Nixon's good performance perhaps we should roll out some more old boys, they seem to be more reliable
Old Boys Line Up (Must be over 34)
1. Ali Brown (Surrey)
2. Nick Knight (Warks)
3. Mark Ramprakash (Surrey)
4. Stuart Law (Lancs) - Has played for Oz but now qualifies for England
5. Ronnie Irani (Essex)
6. Craig White (Yorks)
7. Mark Ealham (Notts)
8. Paul Nixon (Leics)
9. Phil Defreitas (Leics) - Must still be turning his arm over
10. Darren Gough (Essex)
11. Martin Bicknell (Surrey)
Any others chaps

Gatting was the last man to skipper us to victory in Austrlaia. Bring back everyone's favourite Henry VIII lookalike!

Watched the highlights last night on BBC and I liked the mics they had on some of the players. Never seen those before. Was good to hear their take on things from out on the field, gave an interesting point of view.

Two things I'd like to point out -
1) It's a good job the Aussies won the Ashes - If they didn't the fans would be moaning about everything that went wrong, dropped catches and all. Which, when they dropped everything Symonds and Ponting in particular sent to them...
2) Can't we nick their batting coach as well as our old bowling coach and Warnie? We might actually win something then!

Funny part was when Vaughan was asked how his knee (?) was feeling and he said it feels fine but his neck was a bit sore.
