Russell Williamson has signed for Heybridge Swifts for next season.

He will join ex Orient/Luton and failed SUFC trialist Carl Griffiths who has renewed his conract with the Scraley Road club.

My girlfriend wrote him a soppy later years ago, he replied with a signed photo which is framed and still adorns a prominent spot in our southend shrine spare room....

If my girlfriend started writing soppy letters to midget footballers I would be extremely concerned.
