What a match.
Great knocks from McMillan and McCullum, along with Hayden for Australia!
Superb stuff!

What the heck happened to Aus? One minute they're killing everyone, now they're something like 5 games lost on the bounce. The next thing you know they'll extend that to 17 defeats.

My favourite knock will probably be the one on Hayden's toe, possibly ruling him out of the world cup.
This will put real pressure on the Aussie squad early on: Gilchrist is on paternity leave and Symonds is recovering from a torn bicep and both were expected to miss the opening couple of games. Hayden is also going to be struggling to make those early games. Add in Dubya is struggling with a back injury and Clarke is still feeling a sore hip and Australia may be struggling to field enough batsmen. They might not be able to play an extra bowler in their place either as Lee has ankle liagament trouble and is doubtful for the early games. Playing a lot of injured players will also leave them very suspect in the field.
Gilchrist will now come under real pressure not to return home for the birth of his/Michael Slater's child.

It's all a foretaste of what their side will be like in 2 years time, when McGrath, Hayden and Gilchrist have all gone. I can't wait !!

What a shame that the convicts are whinging about all of their injuries, it seems that the boot may be firmly on the other foot.
Oh dear, how sad, never mind.:hilarious:

Interesting, lets continue to worry about our own world cup though
