Last season the relelgation battle was a tight one, with the like of Darlington and ourselves down there all season only to break free in about march.
At xmas i don't think anyone would have said York would go down, and well Carlisle were really doomed from their poor start.

But this season i really cannot see any team who is markedly worse than the other 23 in the league. Someone is bound to get sucked in when they look safe.

But i'm going for a complete guess - Bury and Macclesfield.

Quoting a thread started by Shrimper Jim last month, It is likely to be two of the following teams who play each other on the opening day of the season.

Since the league made it two relegated, the opening fixtures have seen the two teams playing each other on the opening day, relegated at the end of the season.

ie August 10th 2002 - Shrewsbury v Exeter and
August 9th 2003 - Carlisle v York.

So who's going down out of this list?
