The two big stories are Trescothick is still in, and Prior has been chosen as wicketkeeper along with Nixon.

IMHO its pretty hard to disagree with Prior and Nixon. Nixon was one of England's best players during the World Cup, and Prior had a decent A-team tour and has been knocking on the door for a while. He is easily the best batsman out of all the keeper candidates.

I think it would have been very tough not to pick Nixon on the basis of his performances in the CB & World Cup. Prior I'm not so sure about, Foster & Davies are better with the gloves, and it's a moot point as to who the better batsman is, but Prior is the next cab off the rank given his decent A team tour.
