Don't really know the make up of their team well enough to know if he will start.
He has been playing at a higher level for the last few years so maybe he'll be a first choice, should get a good reception if he plays when they visit the hall.

Phew! At least that rules out a return to Roots Hall!

I thought that Oxford had let Rawle go and he wanted to come back to Southend which is why he was in the away end at Northampton trying to build bridges with the fans. http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif

Why didn't we get him back? We are going to be short of defenders again if any get injured. Good luck to him. See you soon Leo http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
As for Mark Rawle he did what was best for him. No grudge held there.

Roget is a cult hero. I would have loved to have seen him back, playing him alongside Edwards would have been a dream come true! I really feel we have missed out here - I'm gutted.

Welcome on board Mark!
I'd have loved to have seen Leo back at the Hall too, even if he did have a screwloose!

Cheers, but in fact I've just been away for a very long time and forgot my old password etc!
Leo's amazing piece of 'play' against kidderminster will live with me forever, even if it was possibly the worst game I've ever seen (although I did get forced to go to a gravesend game last year....)
And on top of that, his equaliser against Watford in the old first division to all but send them down was a glorious, glorious moment....

I for one would have been delighted to have had him back; Leo is a legend IMHO.
