Now I have your attention, I like a bit of Smut as much as the next man, but there's only so much you can take of Russian girls getting f**ked up the arse and some bloke sh*tting in another girls mouth. (Thanks FLPTV)

So I'm looking for a programme to cut out Spam on my email does anyone know any decent programmes out there?

Cheers,

Dave

If you've not got Office 2004 - which has its own filter (not great, but OK) then the best I've used is "I HATE SPAM" which can be 'obtained' from the usual places on the net...

You could simply forward it to people you don't like, and say it's a bug in your email... http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I am on blueyonder and I virtually never receive spam. They seem to filter it for you.

Same for openworld - never seem to have any problems. Openworld is also very good at blocking virus's, etc. Get the odd email that has been filtered out due to a virus. Not bad for an extra £1 per month.

I am also on Blueyonder and no issues. I am looking at a freebie Spam filter for a friend called SpamPal (http://www.spampal.org/) not sure how it performs yet but it seems ok. Also a suggestion if you do sign up to a website and have your own domain try including the name of the site before your domain such as

flptv@mydomain.co.uk

At least when you receive the Spam you know who sold your address or had stored your email insecurely so Spam Bot could retrieve it. http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Seems sh*tty Freeserve doesn't have any filters. So I'll check out Andee's suggestion.
