Phew. It'll certainly save us from the massive over-hyping of his chances for a year....

Any significance that it is a wrist injury?

Yes, heavens, what an unusual coincidence that a tennis player should have injured his wrist - he must have done it whilst choking the chicken or something like that...
:guns:
Honestly, British sports fans make me spew sometimes. You've got Glasgow chuntering on because - heaven forbid - a stroppy teenager was a bit "ABE" in his comments about football. Show me a single teenager who hasn't said or done something a bit daft and something a bit hot-tempered?! Get off his back, FFS! If you're honestly saying you never said something pretty stupid as a teenager, then I'm calling you deluded. So what if he was in the public eye? He's still a teenager... doing that thing that all teenagers do: saying something which is probably a bit stupid in a bid for popularity.
You've then got Mr. Benedict sighing relief that we won't be getting overwrought about him in the papers this year. Yes, heaven forbid that we should get a little bit excited about the fact we have a 20 year old who is one of the ten best tennis players in the world, who is getting better, and who would have been eighth seed at Wimbledon this year.
Who says we don't get the sportsmen (e.g. the Rio Ferdinands, Dennis Wises and Ashley Coles of this world) that us bloody ingrates richly deserve, eh?!
