We are not doing too bad, this week saw my team have its first loss of the season. Infront of a capacity crowd as well.

The Shrimpers - The Bearded Ones 1 - 5

Date: 11/30/2003 at 18:00
MatchID: 10451480
Arena: The Shrimpers Arena
Crowd: 8000

Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and The Shrimpers Arena saw a crowd turnout of 8000. Shrimpers had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Clune - Mason, Paterson, MacCuaig, Judge - Ivy, McGovern, Anthony, Ankcorn - Axford, Curtis.

Bearded started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Tingas - Krzeminski, Allen, Singh, Waller - Hall, Adshead, Farmer, Marhoefer - Elce, Cleveland.

Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Bearded, and they seem passable at it. Alan Axford gave his Shrimpers the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged both the guests central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the goaltenders right post. Visitors Marlon Farmer was alert on a play coming in from the left, making the score a tie at 1 - 1 in the 25:th minute. Bearded took the lead after 32 minutes with 1 - 2. John Cleveland placed the ball out of reach for the home sides keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. Halftime score was 1 - 2. Bearded held the ball, with a clear 61 percent possession rate.

In a rapid move, Jamie Marhoefer of Bearded lost his man, passed the ball to the unmarked Patrick Elce who easily hit it home for the 1-3 goal. Shrimpers had a nice free kick routine in the 64:th minute that was very close to paying off, had it not been for a dramatic save by the visitors keeper. In the 75:th minute Bearded put themselves up 1 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. Scorer was John Cleveland. The crowd was amused as Danny Hall of Bearded used a few interesting tricks and dribbles to get into the penalty box. The finish wasn´t very amusing, though. One of many good passes from Jamie Marhoefer at the wing was recieved and skillfully taken care of by Patrick Elce, scoring for Bearded to 1 - 5. After this Bearded lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Bearded, with an impressive 71 percent possession of the ball.

The most dominating Shrimpers player was without a doubt Joseph Curtis. Shaun MacCuaig on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Bearded player was without a doubt Haadiya Singh. Jamie Marhoefer on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 5.

The Super Amazing farm yard fighters - FC Gambero 1 - 5

Date: 11/30/2003 at 18:00
MatchID: 10432970
Arena: The Super Amazing farm yard fighters Arena
Crowd: 4504

Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 4504 to The Super Amazing farm yard fighters Arena. fighters started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Dishun - Franklin, Egerton, O'Reilly, Byrne - Azad, Sugiura, Lantz, Redman - Palmer, Devine.

Gambero had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: bin Abdul Wahid - MacFie, Davison, Jourdain - Lasurt, MacRankin, Dahl, Stuhr-Ellegaard, Hayes - Seroo, Álvarez.

Gambero mostly ignored the flanks in favour of attacks in the middle. In the 2nd minute the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending and Gerben Seroo put the ball away for 0 - 1. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Gambero´s Curt Stuhr-Ellegaard got himself booked. After 21 minutes of play Sandy Lantz equalised for fighters after an elegant attack from the right. Scott Franklin behaved like an inexperienced youth player in the 30:th minute as he gave the ball away to an opponent. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. A mistake by the home sides central defence in the 34:th minute allowed Gerben Seroo to score 1 - 2 for Gambero. The teams went for a half-time break at 1 - 2. Gambero held the ball, with a clear 79 percent possession rate.

fighters had made all their substitutions when Conrad Redman had to leave the game in the 48:th minute because of a pulled tendon, leaving the team a man short. In the 74:th minute the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 3 as Ross Lasurt finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. By now Gambero were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. Miguel Ángel Álvarez increased the visitors lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 1 - 4. The visitors Marius Dahl took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side´s goalie and full backs in the 81st minute. 1 - 5 for Gambero. Gambero came close to extending their lead as Curt Stuhr-Ellegaard delivered a long range shot from the right but the angle was too sharp, and the shot hit the side of the goal. Gambero held the ball, with a clear 77 percent possession rate.

The most dominating fighters player was without a doubt Richard Dishun. Chad O'Reilly on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Gambero player was without a doubt Denny Hayes. Bonnand Jourdain was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 5.

8. The Cobblers! 3 1 - 12 0

In fact, it was a sell-out as well.

7000 spectators arrived at Shrimperzone F.C. Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Shrimperzone had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. They fielded: Torrance - Ayling, Castellvell, Pearmain, Pottage - Pike, Afford, Winman, Beramendi - Arechi, Hart.

WorthEveryPenny had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Overall - Davies, McGovern, Johnson, Rowan - Lyddiatt, Barnden, Houghton, Hopkins - Williams, Franson.

Quentin Afford gave his Shrimperzone the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged both the guests central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the goaltenders right post. In the 25:th minute Shrimperzones Cain Pottage received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Charles Ayling of Shrimperzone received a yellow card in the 39:th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. That Ian Franson has the ability of doing what no one expects him to do was shown as he ran over an opposing defender, snatched the ball and passed Herman Williams who hit it hard into the wide open goal: 1 - 1! Shrimperzone took the lead in the 41st minute of the game by 2 to 1, as Giovanni Arechi elegantly received a pass going deep, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. The referee showed WorthEveryPennys Mark Davies the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The teams went for a half-time break at 2 - 1. Shrimperzone, bringing the final ball possession rate to 71 percent, dominated the battle.

Seemingly due to lack of experience, Adam Winman needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. Quentin Afford almost managed to score another goal for Shrimperzone, but his header was tipped to a corner by the visitors goalie. Giovanni Arechi almost managed to score another goal for Shrimperzone, but his header was tipped to a corner by the visitors goalie. Shrimperzone made a substitution in the 75:th minute. Cain Pottage limped off the field and was replaced by Aaron Johnson. Almost all the way down to the corner flag Andy Pike somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for Tim Hart who struck for 3 - 1. Shrimperzone were given a penalty in the 79:th, neatly put away by Quentin Afford. 4 - 1 for the home side. The referee showed Shrimperzones John Pearmain the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, WorthEveryPenny´s Joachim Hopkins got himself booked. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Shrimperzone, with an impressive 74 percent possession of the ball.

The most dominating Shrimperzone player was without a doubt Nick Torrance. However, John Pearmain made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating WorthEveryPenny player was without a doubt Mark Davies. However, Alex McGovern made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 1.

Going rubbish at the moment with injuries to some of my back four meaning I had to play 3-5-2 and they weren't very happy about it. Lost 1-2 at home but with £250,000 in the bank I will be strengthening my side and changes will be made!!.........oh, and we didn't take our chances http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
