View Full Version : Should we have a regular prediction for Borient?

After a remark from Johnny Stokes about not putting up Borient games for prediction (ironically I had one planned for this week anyway!), I ask this:

Should we acquiesce to his request for Borient fixtures or not?

You decide, people....

I say no. It might cause arguments because why are we interested in Borient when we are Southend?

Sorry :D

No. Its a Southend message board not a borient one.

Doesn't look good for young Johnny so far... ;)

Spot on, shouldn't have the O's on here any more than other clubs.
Incidentally, Mr B, how are the fixtures picked each week - purely at random or do you go for the hardest looking games to predict? All the chosen matches for this week are really hard to call IMO

Surely it should be the top fixtures of the week, be it a top of the table clash, a relegation battle or a local derby

Which is indeed what I try to post - the more interesting fixtures in the weekend's games. (Well, as interesting as L1 gets...!)
Looking forward to doing some FA Cup fixtures next week :D

It seems to be working pretty well so far Ben, so if the Ooze game is featured then so be it, and i'll be interested to see which games you pick for the FA Cup ... i'm sure Billericay vs Swansea will be there though, eh ;)

Yep - it sure will, so you can start thinking about that one already!
Might do a few extra fixtures for the cup, or perhaps run predictions on the replays...

I'm sure you'll be able to pick 10 fixtures quite easily, with maybe a 20 point bonus for getting them all correct ?? and then back to the usual 6 for the replays .. just a suggestion of course
