Thoughts on these few ideas people..
If anyone wants details on how to have a flag like these made, let me know..
Prices are around £30-£60 (which is very, very cheap) and come in a range of sizes up to 10ft x 5ft, they can be either hanging flags (with ties) or waving flags (with a stick)..
Would be good if some of you could purchase one, or even a few of you could group together and share the costs...
If you are interested in purchasing a flag, visit www.longjohnsilverflags.co.uk (http://www.longjohnsilverflags.co.uk)
or email Rob on ljs@longjohnsilverflags.co.uk with your requirements.

I like the third one best, although the quartered one looks almost as smart.

In the centre was thinking either the SUFC Crest or TBV Logo, not sure on copyright etc.

Good effort ESB. I like the 1906 idea especially, this is exactly the type of unique design we need.
I'd like to see a blue and white flag with the essex swords on it, if anyone fancies mocking that up?...

I like the 3rd and 4th of Smiffy's original one's. Think 3rd for home and 4th for away games. But ESB has made some pretty smart ones.

Looking good guys.
Ive just got a quote on a massive banner.
However I think we need to start looking at getting flags with the telescopic poles. We can't keep getting flags to lay down as there is only so much room (as i found out on saturday) so we really need to move on and get the flags waving (so to speak)
Whos up for this?

Yep my thoughts exactly, 5 x 3ft are around £40 and 6 x 6ft around £55, thats for any of the designs on page 1 and includes plastic poles...

Its a good point, but lets face it Saturday will be a one off for lack of room for flags, as all other away game we wont take that many and most grounds give a massive away section, so it Shouldnt be to much of a problem,
plus as long as iv got 12ft by 6 for my flag i dont care:)

Yes your right, but as far as im concerned if we want a decent group and displays then we really need to start getting decent flags with telescopic poles.

Agreed it would be great if we had loads of flags waving before the game!

Nah it looks good, but dont use that font writing though. Use something more casual, less formal, if you get what I mean :)

We have now put in an order with www.longjohnsilverflags.co.uk (http://www.longjohnsilverflags.co.uk) for half dozen waving flags, we hope to have these in time for the blue voice day on new years day!.
Would be great if you guys could purchase some flags too..
For any of the designs on page 1, you are looking at between £30 and £50 for a (5ft x 3ft) or (6ft x 6ft) flag, with handles for waving!
Or if you have your own flag design you want making, with or without handles, thats fine too, as long as it is not too complicated..
These are the best prices you will find anywhere and will look great.
Visit the website and drop Rob an email with your requests on ljs@longjohnsilverflags.co.uk and he will be happy to help i'm sure..
Come on guys, lets put some colour back into Roots Hall..

I like that a lot to be honest.
Was thinking off the shields for my potential The Blue Voice (SUFC Exiles) flag!
I'd maybe swap the F & the U around so it doesn't read like SFUC
