I must admit It would be nice for RM to come out & say something about FF. The official site new stadium page has not been updated since October.
I think RM was hoping that a decision would have been made by now, but as per other threads the closer we get to the 'deadline' I can see the decision being delayed. RM would have to make a statement then, so either way only a couple of weeks before some news is announced.

We had an update a couple of weeks ago !
The report was expected to be submitted by the 10th December but was delayed and wasnt submitted until the 21st.
We are expecting a decision by the 6th March although it was hoped to be prior to that.

Feel certain that all supporters might agree & hope the government delay in desision leads to:-
[1] A positive outcome and
[2] Permission be reserved to enure to SUFC or their succesors in title only, to sole football rights at the stadium by S.206 legal agreement with the council - which would preserve against a AFC Wimbledon type event happening here in Southend in the long term future, no matter how unlikely that may presently seem under the current management.
Viz: The legacy to be left on Fossetts be similar [but more water tight] to the covenant on Roots Hall which has become lost.
