During today on SZ I saw a mention about the Sol coach to Doncaster being called "Blue Voice One" if there are enough of TBV travel. I have hunted through the related threads but cannot find the mention of this, can somebody confirm I am not going mad !!

Oh dear sounds like dummies out with the toys. Thought that the idea was that we are all SUFC fans and all work together in the best interest of the supporters.

When Watermill Wino (and a couple of others) came up with the idea of running coaches that catered for the specific requirements of his group mainly based around (or in) the Watermill public house in Basildon, he spent a lot of time trying to come up with a name for his travel empire. It looked likely for a while that it would be either "Wino's Tours", “Judas Tours” or “Shrimpers on Tour” then however he decided to go with the name the “Shrimpers on line” as in return he could get a place to advertise his travel, as a result of this SoL as a site became known to more fans.
Whilst it is classed as “Shimpersonline” travel it should be pointed out that it is virtually all Wino’s own work with the Sol name and people connected with it taking the praise. He has done remarkably well during the last 15 games or so, even surviving a week in hospital (proving that running football coaches can seriously damage you health !!). Since it’s beginning at the away trip to Port Vale he has managed to run coaches at very competitive rates, given money raised to two charities, given away drinks, fruit, Easter eggs, sweets and managed to put smiles of faces in the name of SUFC, all that and he has also made a nice profit into the bargain!!
His recent “Fan of the Year Award” with Southend Radio shows just how much he is appreciated for his hard work and dedication.

I hope not, we're going up with the Trust coaches, they're leaving Basildon 5 minutes later than we are?

There is nothing wrong with the Trust and I may add, still being a Trust member, is they do so much work and sponsorship for Ricky Duncan and the Youth set up as you state but also pay for medical equipement for the team as well.
The only thing that IS wrong is a few, incorrect, opinions that we all have issues with everyone else. This is so far of the mark it's laughable.
On the SOL site is a BLUE VIOCE section and we've carried flags to away games and did our bit for the cause.
A Shrimpers Tust section and we also helped out with stationary and offers of help to them and talk on a regular basis.
Over the years we have done commentary for SOL and The Zone at the same time, also having links to here too. We also have no problem with Zoners coming along with us to away games and I dare say they would tell you that we didn't try to brain wash them either.
PLEASE can we just all get on with supporting Southend United and treating fellow Shrimpers with respect, it's gone on for far too long, lets just move on eh?
Thank you.

Well said - it's not a them and us situation just different strands of the same support.

I certainly do not discriminate against any of the various forms of Southend support, I treat you all with equal contempt, and dislike you all with equal intensity. That, I believe, is how it should always be.
I think what The Late One may have appertaining to was that coach travel organised under the auspices of Sol Travel was being renamed TBV Travel without anyone else's prior knowledge and without them actually organising it. It's just a simple misunderstanding, obviously, and as Wino rightly points out we are all trust members and, more importantly, Southend supporters.
I would prefer the bam-bams to have been made out of bricks for our visit to Millwall mind. I was somewhat disappointed when my idea was rejected.
