First Hignett... now this:

Darlo have signed striker Alun Armstrong on a short-term contract.

The 29-year-old has signed a deal until Christmas with The Quakers after he was released in the summer by Championship club Ipswich Town.

Bloody hell, that's a serious signing unless he's lost a lot of form.

Didn't he get loads of goals for Stockport when they went on some cup run a few years back?

Where are Darlington getting this dosh from? Both those guys can't be cheap, as in wages.

Yup, he bagged loads for Stockport, and is regarded as one of their best ever players. Shame they're sh*t now though...

Whilst this is true, we only have to face them once more this season, at home! [league2 that is!].
