BY TRAIN
As Billericay is on the Liverpool Street Line trains are regular both there and back, for those wanting to taste the delights of downtown Billericay nightlife the last train back is at 01.26 arriving Southend Vic 01.55 although of course officially Day return tickets are not valid after midnight. Fares £7.10 return from Southend Vic or £4.70 with a railcard
DIRECTIONS FROM THE STATION
From Billericay Station turn right out the Station, right again into Billericay High Street, turn right again into Western Road, cross the busy London Road at the lights into Tye Common Road, the ground is on the Right hand side at the second turning. Walking time estimated 25 minutes or Mayflower taxis (01277 624000) are located just outside the station and can take you to the ground.
BY ROAD
17 miles from Southend.
Take A127 to Basildon/Billericay (A176) turn-off. Turn left at first roundabout going under A127). Take second exit at roundabout (Billericay is signposted). Then straight over (2nd exit) at the next roundabout. Continue along that road until you enter Billericay. At the first roundabout take the first available exit. At the next roundabout (with Billericay School on your left) go straight over (1st exit). At yet another roundabout!, turn left into the one-way system. Keep in the left-hand lane and go straight over roundabout. At first set of lights, turn left. Blunts Wall Road is the second turning on your right.
CLUBHOUSE
The refitted clubhouse opened in 2005. As well as a much enlarged bar and a large TV screen the clubhouse now includes new ladies and disabled toilets. The clubhouse is open to all supporters, and has a sizeable capacity. The bar is open before and after the match, and at half time.
