New Chants We All Agree On?

OK after long hard discussions many people have given there suggestions some good , some not so good! But can I ask have we actually got a chant we all agree on. I have made this thread for a simple purpose. If you heard something and you seriously think its a good chant! Do not just dismiis others peoples comment on them!This isnt a grumble this is just a shove into the right direction!

At the end we just go and that brings us back to Southend then Do a dear agen! Could work...Or not:unsure:

its hard to try and force the issue as it were, we dont have a club anthem such as liverpool, stoke, man city etc etc but I have never seen this as a problem. Why all of a sudden do we need one, I love a good atmosphere and a good sing song but If Im honest singing along to a song that we have no link too or has no relevance to the club seems a little forced, you know a bit like planned fun. Keep up the great effort to improve atmosphere at RH btw I think the atmos has improved since the blue voice movement well done but sometimes things arent meant to be, we have been around 100 years without an anthem this probably suggests we firstly dont need one and secondly dont really want one.

At Donny away they played rockin all over the world by status quo,and the wonderful southend faithful sung it long after it finnished,thats what started the atmosphere off the rest was history,that should be our anthem if only the club would play that before kick off!

i think we need to sort out a few new songs. its great singing the new sing up song, other than that all the ova songs are just standard ones that every club has. would love a good few different songs.

We hate Col U? What ones that? WE HATE ORIENT is good. We don't have many of our own though, however do many teams? Half them have one song you associate with the club, thats all we need.

No ones saying that, if you feel so strongly hand out songsheets. The majority of the home crowd won't join in the songs. It's away games that the inventive songs come out.

I agree. We don't need a club anthem. I think we have a bigger range of songs than most clubs these days. Some fans you hear just sing the same two or three songs all the time. Club anthems are historic and we've never had one. We have plenty of our songs and as lee says, attaching us to some pop song would seem a bit desperate and forced. I like our chants. They're simple, people can pick them up easily. People on here are always coming up with fancy ideas for songs which would just never catch on.
