A nightmare situation for the travelling Shrimpers.
As I understand the first game was abandoned at half time because of Floodlight failure, and now we've put the clocks back! Hope Telford win, don't want to go and have our game called off. (Isee Maldon Blues says game rearranged for Tuesday in another thread?)
No date for a rematch yet, that helps, as I always say book early for the best deals but in this case you can't.
At the moment:
Northwich
Cheapest return is £35.50 at moment via either Chester or Stockport jorney taking 4 to 5 hours
Telford
Cheapest fare is £31.00 via Birmingham and takes about two and half hours.
Not much else you can say or do at the moment.

First thing I thought when the draw came out was that it makes it a pain in the backside to make travel plans!
I guess ticket allocations are a consideration as well, can't really go booking anything till you know you can get a ticket. Telford hold 6,300 and Northwich has 5,046. Is it still 25% allocation for cup games?

True, presumably if your a STH and you don't mess around it shouldn't be a problem I can't see us taking more than a 1,000 whoever, we only took a 1,024 to Oxford last year which was closer with unlimited tickets availability.

Pete,
Looked like Telford was £24 return cheapest if you didn't mind arriving at Wellington station (20 mins walk away) at 14:10. No good for serious drinkers obviously!

Telford can be reached direct from London Marylebone in around 3 hours. Currently £28 return but you have to get up early!
(watch them get knocked out tomorrow night now!)

Hi Guys, Just thought I'd drop you all a line or two, and say that you would be most welcome to the New Bucks Head Wellington in Telford, Should the result go our way.
There was a very unsavoury event on Saturday which meant that only half a game got played due to floodlight failure........ Events were such that even their own fans were calling for the head of the land lord whom they rent the ground from and were cut off in the week leading to the game for non payment of £84,000 to Scottish Power Allegedly. And the real feeling of being ripped off, but not for as long as the Northwich Fans who have suffered quite enough at the hands of their money grabbing landlord.
Anyhow the game is back on at the Marstons Ground in Northwich 'cos us Bucks fans all chipped in a £1 for the meter, so we should get a result one way or the other.
Feel free to look in on our Forum

There will be pinned details of places to visit and the pubs around the ground, plenty of B&B's and stay for a weekend if you've never been this way before.
Anyway good luck for the rest of the season, if we don't meet.
