What an inhospitable place Telford is, really heavy police presence allowing little or no freedom to go where you want.
Personally this is one trip I have no desire to do again, but please tell us about your journey and matchday experience good or bad.

Forgetting all the stupity mentioned elsewhere, a couple of postive comments;
Inside the ground:
Worthington or lager £2.30 a pint, good price but soul less drinking in a white washed corrider behind the stand.
Food: Pie, chips and gravy/peas £3.60 was excellent and went down well, certainly an improvement on catering at RH or most league grounds.

Traffic was good and joureny took about 3 1/4 each way.
We went M25, M40, M6, M54 on the way and back M54, M6, A14, M11, A130, A131, A12, A130 on the way back.
Stopped for a bite at the services on the bridge on the way in. Then parked at the ground. Into the club bar for a beer. Two bar staff, one who didn't know where anything was,didn't add up to speedy service. THe coffee behind the terrace was welcome. Tidy facilities and the food looked OK, certainly better than the Hall.

Have to agree with the above. Pretty much a straight run and din't even get lost and the place was even signposted as you came off the motorway.
Parking was very easy and cheap at £2 - although would have preferred to pay zero pounds.
Getting away was also staright forward.
Have to say for a non-league side I was pretty impressed with some of the facilities at the stadium and the ladies tiolets were very clean and fully operational with no water over the floor

Went on Sol Coach and it was a nice trip. Good facilities at Telford, bar in ground and reasonable food. Coaches were a bit slow getting out of the Car Park but once given the Police Escort, we were on motorway in minutes flat which was good. Only real downer was it was p!$$ing with rain when i got off the coach and i had to walk home in it!

Went by train 10.38 from euston changed at wolves, was slow and long journey arrived at 13.20. Left wellington at 17.45 should have been 17.35 but train was late, finally arrived at euston at 20.45, over 30 minutes late. Got home at 22.10 not bad considering we left at 09.00 in the morning :nope:, would I do it again, yes but not by train.

I went the same route as Tinks, who copied me!
My G/F, sorry fiancee :clap: stayed in Telford Town Centre, so missed all the fun & games at the ground.
The locals were friendly & helpful, which was spoilt a little by a few penisheads & a large police presence. That said, I heard from a copper that it was for our protection. They had heard a few nutters were looking for a bit of bother.
Everything apart from our ***** performance was great!
