LEEDS Away Tuesday 27th January 2009.

For those hardy souls making the trip to Yorkshire next Tuesday here's the Little Gazette's usual excellent Pub crawl for the best Pubs in the area, with the best beers:

Some of you of course, may prefer a more basic Pub, so if you know of, or have been to, an “all right boozer” that’s ideal for a meet on the day, then please pass it on. If so you must have a long memory it's been a while since we played Go Go County.

Gutted this is when it is, had it been a Tuesday during half term we'd have gone. Drunk at a few places in Leeds but none are really what you'd be looking for as a pre-match boozer!

We drank in the Drysalters (?) 12-15 mins walk from the ground, a large pub which served food, and had no grief in there.

Park in Mcdonalds over the road and have a drink in the ground.

The best place for away fans is the Dry Salters. As someone said its about a 15-20 minute walk from the ground. For those coming up by train there is a Wetherspoons at the station but do leave yourself time to make the game

Personally I'd go with Watford

On both my trips to Leeds i've been in The Peacock with no problems whatsoever, locals were very pleasant
