Places to eat in Hull

Any restaurants in Hull that can eat at before the game that are clean and decent?

(i.e. McDonalds, chippie or w/e)

Or is it sannies on the coach?

In the city centre there's the usual McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza places etc. On Anlaby Road which is close to the station there are a number of Indian & Chinese restaurants. Hull is a ********, but it does very good fish & chips. Trouble is I can't remember where they are in relation to the KC Stadium, as I only know Boothferry Road.

I'd steer clear of the city centre pubs, as they are mostly very rough and frequented by skinheads with a vast array of tattoos, and they are the women.

Worked in Hull a few years back,not a bad city centre with loads of choices for food and drink,but be on your guard,there are some serious idiots about.
